We’re looking for an intern who isn’t afraid to learn and take on responsibility. An internship with us is not your average internship. Four of our current team members started as interns and are still here today, the longest for over 10 years.

About Magenta
Magenta creates online films and photography with a focus on sports and culture. We also work with a range of corporate clients. Our office is located in the heart of Amsterdam, where we produce dynamic, immersive and inspiring stories for a wide audience. Everything is done in-house: from concept development to production, and from photography to post-production. We work with clients such as Red Bull, Red Bull Racing, Shimano, Heijmans, and ING.
About the Role
As an editing intern, you’ll be part of our post-production team and work on a variety of projects. You’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience throughout the entire post-production process and develop yourself as an editor.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the post-production team on ongoing projects
Selecting and organizing footage
Assisting with edits, from first selects to final delivery
Working on rough cuts and contributing to final edits
Supporting color grading and sound design
Contributing ideas on editing choices, pacing, and storytelling
Preparing exports and delivering multiple versions for different platforms
Creating short edits for social media
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
Available for six months (shorter period negotiable)
Full-time (40 hours per week)
Hands-on mentality
Strong sense of rhythm, visuals, and storytelling
Basic knowledge of editing software such as Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
Detail-oriented and well-organized
Strong communication skills and open to feedback
Passion for film and visual storytelling
Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Based in or around Amsterdam
Fluent in English and Dutch
Experience in editing and post-production is a plus, not required
