We’re looking for an intern who isn’t afraid to learn and take on responsibility. An internship with us is not your average internship. Four of our current team members started as interns and are still here today; the longest for over 10 years.

About Magenta
Magenta creates online films and photography with a focus on sports and culture. We also work with a range of corporate clients. Our office is located in the heart of Amsterdam, where we produce dynamic, immersive and inspiring stories for a wide audience. Everything is done in-house: from concept development to production, and from photography to post-production. We work with clients such as Red Bull, Red Bull Racing, Shimano, Heijmans, and ING.
About the Role
As a production intern at Magenta Films, you’ll join our hardworking but close-knit production team and contribute to a variety of film and photography productions. You’ll get the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all stages of the production process, allowing you to discover what you enjoy and further develop your skills.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the production team across all ongoing projects, both in the Netherlands and abroad, in the office and on set
Assisting with pre-production tasks such as location research, contacting crew, equipment rentals, and supporting the casting process
Creating call sheets
Supporting the film/photography crew on set (logistics, assisting with equipment, handling release forms, welcoming cast, sourcing props, capturing behind-the-scenes photo/video content)
Contributing ideas for and creating social media content
Sharing your (creative) input on workflow, concepts, collaborations
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
Available for six months (shorter period negotiable)
Full-time (40 hours per week)
Hands-on mentality
Strong communication and organizational skills
Passion for film and photography
Comfortable working in a dynamic (sometimes fast-paced) environment and able to switch between tasks quickly
In possession of a driver’s license
Based in or around Amsterdam
Fluent in English and Dutch
Experience in film/TV production is a plus, not required
